Superpedestrian
A shared e-scooter company operating across the United States and Europe, Superpedestrian needed a mobile optimized website that would display flawlessly in its app and meet the needs of 65+ unique markets. At the same time, the company was rebranding the scooter from LINK to Superpedestrian, requiring a merger of two separate websites.
After a few years operating an e-scooter service under the name LINK, Superpedestrian desired to rebrand all its services under the Superpedestrian name. This would require merging two separate websites (hosted in different platforms), and ensuring the end result was mobile optimized for users of the Superpedestrian app.
The Problem
The Solution
One cohesive site: created one website with extensive redirects to ensure no broken links for existing materials and users
Mobile optimization: Responsive and mobile friendly site with design optimized for viewing from within the mobile app
Easy to navigate: With over 230 pages (with 18 languages and serving 10 countries), top-level information is easy to navigate and URLs follow consistent naming logic
New understandable copy with clear calls to action: Drafted all copy site-wide (excepting legal language such as Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, etc), with content and clear calls to action for each of Superpedestrian’s unique audiences (users, city partners, sector researchers, investors, etc.)
The Result
The new Superpedestrian.com site went from inception to live in the timeframe of just two months, and has fulfilled all business needs with minimal maintenance since Spring 2022. Additionally, it is WCAG compliant as needed for government contracts.
